I am continuing on adding surface details on the beetle. I spent a lot of time gathering references that I could look at.
I figured that it is not easy to nail the size of the 'pores' because if it is larger or smaller than how it should be, it would disturb it's sense of size and scale compared to the bigger beetles. I plan to further work on the texture and apply fur that june bugs have by its belly and lips.
